What types of Transfers do we offer and how do they differ?
At ActivoBank you can make several types of transfers to Portugal and abroad, in a convenient and secure way.
You can make transfers via the App and the ActivoBank Website, at an ActivoBank Branch near you, via the Support Line* or at an ATM.
To Portugal, ActivoBank has:
Intrabank Transfers
Transfers to Accounts domiciled at the same banking institution. They are instantaneous, according to the availability of the system.
National Transfers
Transfers to Accounts domiciled at other banking institutions. It may take up to 48 hours for the amount to be available in the recipient’s Account, if the Bank does not support instant transfers.
MB WAY Transfers
MB WAY is the solution that allows you, among other things, to make transfers to an Account domiciled in the same Credit Institution or to an Account domiciled in another Credit Institution, up to a limit of €2,000 per transfer. It is available only on digital channels (App and/or Website) and at no cost.
Abroad, ActivoBank has:
International Transfers
SEPA+, transfers covered by Regulation (CE) no. 924/2009. It’s a European system designed to harmonize euro payments in the 28 Members States of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, and Switzerland. Specifically, SEPA allows consumers to make and receive euro payments in these countries using a single bank Account and based on the same rules, rights, and obligations. The amount may take up to 48 hours to be available in the recipient’s Account, If the Bank does not support instant transfers.
Wise
Our partnership with Wise allows you to transfer money abroad (up to a maximum of €12.500,00/day) at the real exchange rate, directly from your ActivoBank App.
