Where can I check the list of providers that are part of the Médis Light network?

You can check the provider network on the Médis website, under the Guia Médis option. All you must do is select rede Médis Light.

Is access to the Médis Light network limited to appointments?

No, access to the network applies to all acts of Hospitalization, Ambulatory Care.

What other networks can Médis Light clients access?

In addition to the Médis Light network, clients have access to the Médis Dental network, the Saúde e Bem-estar (Health and Wellness) network, the Farmácias (Pharmacies) network and the Óticas (Opticians) network.

How does the payment of the daily allowance for hospitalization work?

The Client must send the medical report with the hospital discharge certificate to Médis.

Does the daily allowance for hospitalization have pre-existences?

Yes, it does. For this cover, there will be an analysis of the reasons for the hospitalization to confirm that it wasn't due to a pre-existing condition.

Does the Client have to be hospitalized in a provider of the Médis network in order to receive the hospitalization allowance?

No, they don't. The hospitalization can take place in the public or private health service, the provider is irrelevant for the allocation of the allowance.
