Wise is available to our clients in the app, within the section “Transfer”. If you already have a Wise account, the app will recognize your email and you will be able to link your ActivoBank and Wise accounts. If you have never used Wise before, the app will automatically create a Wise account for you and you will be able to use it immediately.
ActivoBank does not charge any fee for providing this service, the only commission being the transparent fee that Wise has. This cost is shown before you set up your transfer: as you insert the amount in Euros you intend to send, the commission, exchange rate and amount the receiver will get in the destination currency is presented to you. The commission varies according to the currency and is calculated as a percentage of the amount transferred. The exchange rate is the real exchange rate without any hidden costs, ensuring the receiver will get a greater amount when compared to traditional transfer methods.
As you indicate the amount to transfer and currency in the home screen, you will receive an estimated time of delivery. This estimate depends on the currency and destination country, on security checks and on the time of the transfer – some transfers can only be processed during the involved banks’ working hours – but can be as quick as a few minutes.
At the moment, we have 18 currencies available: EUR; USD; GBP; CHF; BRL; CNY; ZAR; DKK; PLN; NOK; AUD; CZK; HKD; HUF; CAD; MAD; ILS; TRY and INR.
Transfers have a daily limit of 12.500€ per user.
