What are the minimum and maximum ages to request a Personal Loan?

The Personal Loan is for Clients between the ages of 18 and 70.

Are there fees for the Loan request?

There is a Loan opeing fee of 2% over the financed value, with a maximum of €300.

Are there any mandatory insurances?

There are 2 insurances that the Bank demands whenever financing for house is requested, Life insurance and Multirisk insurance.

Life insurance ensures the payment in case of death or permanent invalidity of the insured person. Multirisk insurance ensures that the property, besides the fire coverage (mandatory by law for all houses in regime of horizontal property,for the autonomous fraction as well as for the corresponding share of common areas), has a wide range of aditional coverages that ensure a bigger safety level to the property and to the insured person (examples: Flooding, plumbing malfunction, theft, civil responsability, amongst others).

What is the Payment Plan?

The Payment Plan is a projection in time of the payments to be made for the refund of a financing. For the Personal Loan with fixed rate, the settlement of the financing is made through constant instalments, with a monthly frequency (of capital and interest).

Can I give up on my Loan after I hire it?

You can give up on the Loan contract within 14 calendar days from the time of the signature, without specifying any reasons for the dropout, on the terms of article 17.º of Decree-Law n.º 133/2009 June 2nd. You can make this request through our Website or App, call +351 210 030 700 or go to one of our Branches. By giving up on the contract you will have to return the amount that has been loaned to you and pay the accrued interest within 30 days.

Is it possible to make an early, partial or total repayment of my Loan?

Yes, you can do it covered by the Loan’s contract, with 30 days' notice. Early repayment is subject to a fee calculated as follows: early repayment fee of 0.5% of the amount of the capital repaid early, if the period between the time of early repayment and the date stipulated for the end of this contract is greater than one year. If this period is less than or equal to one year, the early repayment fee is 0.25% of the amount of the capital repaid early.
